If you claim to have “great customer service” but use an auto attendant to answer your phones, you do NOT have “great customer” service! Who wants to hear “press 3, press 2. press 4” when calling a company? This is no way to be answering your phones by using an auto attendant!

In my office, we answer out phones by the 3rd ring and with our first name too. You need to know with whom you are talking to when you call. We believe this is part of marketing, customer service, good business practices all rolled into 1 idea.

Be ahead above all those companies in your industry that use auto attendant – a bad idea. People want to deal with people not a machine!
